The Line is the main control to navigate through levels in Dancing Line.
Other than the Normal variant, the first line skins were introduced in The Earth update. Line skins are cosmetic items for your line which do not affect overall gameplay. There are currently 24 skins, with some skins being trails, while some are only cubes. Premium skins are higher quality skins that you purchase with real money, with some being narrow so that they may avoid crashing obstacles.

Line Abilities[]
Line abilities are what the line can do during the gameplay. Below are some abilities.
Falling[]
An example of falling, debut in The Chaos.
Debut: The Storm, The Desert, The Chaos as of December 13th, 2016.
This is the first ability that the line performs.
Falling is when the line, falls down from one platform to another. It's used in certain rhythm of a level.
During the falling period, the player won't able to be tap, as it's floating.
Changing color[]
The transition between red to black of the line, in The Desert.
Debut: The Desert
Second feature that the line has.
Changing colors when the line's color changes in a certain beat. It's used in certain environments, such as dark or light.
Jumping[]
Jumping to a higher platform, in The Cathedral.
Debut: The Cathedral
The third ability that the line can do.
Jumping is when the line, jumps down from one platform to the other higher side. It's used in certain rhythm of a level. Jumping triggers can be a seesaw, a glowing block, or naturally.
During the falling period, the player won't able to be tap, as it's floating.
Speed[]
Speed becomes rapid in The Christmas Eve, and slightly in The End.

This is the line's fourth ability.
Changing the speed, is when the line becomes faster or slower in some certain rhythms of a level.
Speed changing could be featuring an object (sleigh, in The Christmas Eve) and/or naturally in The End - Theo5970.
Becomes slower is rarely seen, despite no debuts have shown for that.
