Level

Level is one of the main element in Dancing Line. Players aim at reaching 100%, collecting all of the diamonds and crowns in each level. There are a total of 63 Dancing Line levels, with 46 normal levels, 7 remix levels, 7 removed levels, one tutorial, and one WeChat-exclusive level. However, the last two are not included in this page. In past versions, they can be unlocked with 750 gems, real money or through the Lucky Box.

They needed to be unlocked in Challenge, then use gems, real money or through the lucky box. The difficulty order is arranged by its publisher from easy to difficult, but the actual difficulty (by stars) is not shown in the game. Those on this page are discussed and agreed by site users.

In 2019, a smaller feature had been added where the lock would wiggle if the level that was locked had been clicked or tapped on.

The Plains		March 17th, 2017		First level to have a hidden 30% marker.
The Cathedral		April 8th, 2017		Surpassed The Chaos for being the most difficult level (beaten in difficulty on August 3rd, 2017). Unofficially introduces separate pathways. Introduces jumping ability.
The Earth		May 17th, 2017		First level in which the line is able to leave the map and re-enter it.
The Crystal		June 14th, 2017		First level that has the 100% mark.
The Winter (House Remix)		June 14th, 2017		The first remix level in the game. The shortest level. (Duration: 1:19) Has the fastest line speed in the game. (Not counting the Christmas Party's sled segment.)
The Mountains		July 1st, 2017		Contains what is considered the hardest diamond to obtain of the game. Only level to have it's menu color changed. (From Bright Brown to Bright Green)
The Chinese Garden		August 3rd, 2017		Surpassed The Cathedral for being the hardest level (beaten in difficulty on July 27th, 2018). First level to introduce camera's movement to be independent from the player's position.
The Beach (Dance Remix)		August 3rd, 2017		The first (and currently only) remix level not to keep its original name & theme. The first summer-themed level. The second remix level in the game.

The Racing		December 8th, 2018		Claimed the record for being the hardest level. The only level with no visible path ahead or behind. You can only rely on the car's movements and the music.
The Christmas Party		December 19th, 2018		Officially introduces separate pathways. This level's name has without the word "The", but the name is not fully defined, so they added "The" in the title.

The Spring Lullaby		February 27th, 2019		A better, remade version of The Spring. Has more decorations and an actual thinner path to follow. Shares the same soundtrack as The Spring. (Oscar award)
The Alley		February 27th, 2019		First level to use a song from a different Cheetah Mobile game. (Bluestone Alley from Piano Tiles 2) (Oscar award)
Colorful Dream of Sky (formerly Dream of Sky_color)		March 21st, 2019 (Removal date: May 21st, 2024)		Reuses the soundtrack of Dream of Sky, just faster. The seventh removed level in the game. Replaced with Dream of Sky Chamber Remix, but it still uses the same level data.
The Cathedral (Rock Remix)		April 3rd, 2019		The only level that was designed by the Polish designers. The sixth remix level in the game.
The Easter		April 18th, 2019		"Alice in Wonderland" is referenced
The Taurus		May 16th, 2019		The only level that has a theme based on a zodiac sign. The only level to have a crown collected without physically seeing or touching it.
The Exodus		May 30th, 2019		The first level that is related to religion
The Basketball		June 13th, 2019		Has the most falls of the game. First level with moving diamonds. Second level that is based on a sport.
The War		July 17th, 2019		First level with sound effects (can hardly be heard). A level that is not in sync (sometimes). A level that has two endings.
The Amusement Park		August 22nd, 2019		Beating The Christmas Party with the most routes (When the Clown Skin is used). Line skin cameos.
The Indian Journey		September 26th, 2019		The only level that has replaced its original music. (Unofficial music: Come & Get It (Selena Gomez))
The Romance		November 22nd, 2019		The final level of 2019. Accompanying line's weird movements
The Third Anniversary		January 16th, 2020		A special level to celebrate Dancing Line's 3rd birthday. Includes melodies and cameos of the most remembered levels, including Through the Fog's "Peaceful Stalagmation."
The Video Game		January 16th, 2020		Has invisible percentage markers first level to represent a different app.
The Samurai		April 2nd, 2020		The first iOS-only level, as the Google Play version was removed. (It is still possible to obtain the .apk from Cheetah Mobile's website). Now unlockable with gems.
Faded - Easy Mode		April 21st, 2020 (Removal date: June 11th, 2020)		The first level with copyrighted music to be completely free. The sixth removed level in the game. Players cannot keep this level. The fourth level without the word "The". The final level of Alan Walker. This level is one of the first levels to have the shortest lifespans. The final level until DL's shut down.
The Journey		November 16th, 2023		"The frozen gears begin to turn, and a new journey unfolds." The first level of the Dancing Line comeback.
The Wizard Of Oz		January 25th, 2024 [iOS] January 27th, 2024 [Android]		The first level of 2024. Second level based on a fairy tale The first level to inspired by a movie. This level also secretly celebrates Dancing Line's 7th anniversary, using a secret path along the bridges at the end of the level. The second level of the game comeback
The Space		February 6th, 2024		The 2nd fan-made level to become official. This level was added initially to Dancing Line Community Edition. The "Creation Tab" was introduced, with this level being the first one in it.
The Loong		May 21st, 2024		The third level to be Chinese, The third level released in 2024. The third level of the game comeback.
Dream of Sky (Chamber Remix)		May 21st, 2024		A Colorful Dream of Sky replacement level. This level has its own Music Pace. First level to be replaced with calming and slower.
